Which provider should I pick?

Vultr: Lowest friction because Flatcar is selectable when creating a server.
DigitalOcean: Good if you already use it, but you need to import a Flatcar custom image first.
Hetzner: Often cost-effective, especially in Europe, but setup is more involved and starts with a snapshot.

Tailscale features

Exit node Route device internet traffic through this server. Subnet router Advertise a LAN route like 192.168.1.0/24.

Subnet CIDR Use commas for more than one route.

Generated output

Copy is the usual path. Download only if the provider asks for a file.
